How To Spot A Good Source

In order to spot a good source it must include:

Purpose - There must be a reason for this source, either to sell something, persuade someone or argue an opinion.

Reliability - Is it from somewhere that you can depend on, such as the BBC or a website that you can rely on giving you the truth?

Currency - The source is more reliable, the more recent the date is of the source, rather than 200 years old.

Authority - Is the person that wrote the text, reliable and trustworthy, as are they a professional in the matter or not?
